Wat Arun is a largest Pagoda (Buddhist Temple) in Bangkok. Wat Arun means the Temple of the Rising Sun. It is situated on the Banks of the River Chao Phraya. The best way to reach Wat Arun is by Water Taxi.
I used to stay in Thanon Surawong which is the opposite bank as that of Wat Arun. From our hotel (Hotel New Peninsula), I walked down to the General Post Office. From there, I took a water taxi to reach Wat Arun.
It looks very beautiful from the River Chao Phraya.
Adjoining Wat Arun is the Wat Poh. There are a lot of Buddha statues in this site.
The biggest attraction is the Sleeping Buddha.
